holocaust

[tape stopped and restarts] Wonga speaks of Sonja witnessing La Rafle de Paris as she tried to meet her friend Genia, a Polish Jew [and friend of Asger Jorn's] at her home; that whilst she was asking the whereabouts of her friend, Sonja heard cries and was told that it was from the children because their mothers were being rounded up

There were multiple round-ups of Jews in Paris during World War II. Elsewhere, Wonga states Genia Rajhmann was part of the Vel d'Hiver round-up.

holocaust

Wonga tells that the children would later also be transported, speaking of Adolf Eichmann's trial; they also discuss the morality of the Drancy prisoner and administrator who gave witness, Dr George Wellers

It is likely Wonga is referring to the PBS production "The Trial of Adolf Eichmann", 1997
