The Artist Committee for exhibitions abroad asks Sonja Ferlov Mancoba for renewed confirmation of participation in the American traveling exhibition, as the exhibition's focus has shifted from the development of abstract art in Denmark based on the magazines Linien and Helhesten to an exhibition showcasing modern Danish painting and sculpture. The exhibition is set to open around September 1, 1964, at the Carnegie Institute, Pittsburgh, and will then travel further in the USA. In addition to Sonja Ferlov Mancoba, the following artists are listed as invited to participate in the exhibition: Else Alfelt, Carl-Henning Pedersen, Ejler Bille, Henry Heerup, Svavar Gudnason, Egill Jacobsen, Richard Mortensen, Robert Jacobsen, and Jørgen Haugen Sørensen.
