Sonja Ferlov Mancoba writes to Hans Edvard Nørregaard-Nielsen in response to his words in Information regarding her retrospective exhibition at Kunstforeningen in 1977. She writes about the experience of exhibiting her works retrospectively and looking back at who she was then compared to now. She reflects on her experiences of the communal spirit and hopefulness of the 1930s and her current more skeptical view of European cultural and societal conditions.
