Sonja Ferlov Mancoba writes to Niels Ferlov about her work with the sculpture. She feels that it is becoming harder and harder to let them go and that she is only progressing slowly in her work. She relates this to the culture she is a child of, where intellect dominates. Additionally, she expresses gratitude towards Niels Ferlov for the sale of their works and for his intervention in getting drawings by Ernest Mancoba and Jan Groth exhibited at Rødovre Gymnasium. She writes that she appreciates the poet Supervielle and has sent one of his poetry collections to Knud Ferlov in Rome.
