Sonja Ferlov Mancoba writes to Niels Ferlov and thanks him for the good news that the Danish Arts Foundation is purchasing a copy of her sculpture Élan vers l'avenir for display at Rødovre Gymnasium. She refers to Steingrim Laursen regarding the purchase of the sculpture, instead of Børge Birch. She is primarily pleased that the sculpture at the gymnasium will have "the opportunity for a dialogue through the object with others, and even with the young generation." She also mentions her current exhibition with Jan Groth in Oslo. Furthermore, she describes how she has moved the sculptures out onto the floor in her work so that she can "work them together."
