Alexandra Laird, on behalf of the company Bandung Limited, made a documentary film about Gerard Sekoto (1913-1993, South Africa/France) and interviewed Ernest Mancoba. A copy of the transcript of the interview is in the archives at the Johannesburg Art Gallery, donated by Elza Miles, who wrote the biography "Lifeline out of Africa: the art of Ernest Mancoba" (1994). There is a separate letter by Laird to Mancoba in the archives.
