Jan Groth writes to Sonja Ferlov Mancoba that he is glad for her letter and the expressive way she uses language. He writes that he is sending her a "lamb armor" to wear while she works on the sculpture. He speaks about the "gentle, silent that can be conveyed through art, from person to person" and the joy of having gotten to know them. 

  Verso a letter to Ernest Mancoba from Jan Groth, where he writes that he has seen one of his sculptures in an article by Christian Poulsen and finds it strong and significant. Furthermore, he praises the painting he has of Ernest and recounts how he has framed it to emphasize the colors of the painting.
