Sonja Ferlov Mancoba writes with regret to Steen Hybler that she must withdraw her commitment to exhibit in his gallery. She feels that she is not yet strong enough with her sculptures to show them in a solo exhibition. She apologizes for having overestimated her abilities. She writes that she has now stayed outside the exhibition life in Denmark for 15 years. She works with a human expression that needs to mature and be presented "correctly" before she is ready to show her sculptures. She offers in a postscript to buy back some collages he has purchased from her, should he no longer wish to keep them.
