Sonja Ferlov Mancoba thanks the board of the Tagea Brandt Travel Grant for their award. She does not feel that it is her merit, as she has merely followed her desire to express herself through her work and live as a human being. She describes her view on responsibility towards the society one is part of, and how she perceives human existence. Furthermore, she will come to Denmark to meet them on March 17.
