My Sonja,
Beloved, last visit I was deeply moved and sad. You seemed to |be| unhappy my Sonja. You were not in your usual mood. Still you gave me so much of your self – your personality – your love, your magnanimity – your all, that long after you had departed my eyes, ears and whole being tingled with joy and life. Sonja you are my sole desire my only longing, the greatest miracle and wonder of my life. You have made me see clearer into life you have made me into a stone of reality and truth. Do not be depressed, my Beloved the sun of hope will come forth and break thro the clouds of barbarism hatred and envy which blacken the earth today. We two will march hand in hand glorious human-beings |with| millions of liberated youth. I will stand by you my Sonja thro life and death. Ernest.
